introducing the two main characters in the story

Name: Riddle
Age: 17
Looks: short black hair, silver eyes, short
Character: Riddle is someone who cannot stands herself and often pretends to be somebody else. Therefore she is a faker. She pretends to be this cheeky, bubbly character, that is insensitive and jokes about people misfortunes or off people’s size. She pretends she does not care for anyone and she treats people shallowly. However when the situation calls for it, Riddle lashes out and acts up. Her real character is a more serious kind. She cares a lot about people and her friends. She helps people secretly. She prefers to be alone and she often thinks about serious stuff when she is alone. Riddle is kinda cynical about something’s, like politics and stupid people. She finds everyone in the world stupid. She pretends to hate stupid people often ridiculing them and later helping them out.
Riddle follows the rules in school but often lands herself in trouble while performing antics that are stupid. She is called the joker in school and is known for her lame and cruel jokes. Her partner in crime was Alex. She admires Alex but only to a certain point. She secretly wants to be friends with a fat boy in class called Ben. However, because of her character, she bullies him and pretends she hates him. Ben reminded her of her little brother and therefore Riddle cares about him more than anyone in school. San Geong was Riddle first friends their relationship is often that of a mother scolding her little child. However, once Riddle learns to be herself, their relationships took a better toll. Riddle likes to read about the supernatural, often delving herself fin supernatural books she got from her neighbor Mr Oji-san. Mr Oji-san is Riddle’s old friend. She has not seen his face and she loves him a lot. She only shows her true side when writing letters to Mr Oji-san through his books. Riddle past is long and dark. Riddle likes high places, often venturing up into the city’s sky scrapers and sitting on them. She likes to gaze at the night sky from these tall sky scrapers. Only when she is in a high place did Riddle truly felt she belong, felt herself. Riddle is also well versed in the supernatural happenings around her, often helping people in need. She has a scar that runs from her left shoulder to her stomach. This is a scar from the being and Riddle often uses it as a reminder to catch the being and kill it one day. She only showed the scar the Esme and later on Ben, who accidently chanced upon it. Riddle finds her scar disgusting and covers it up with a bandage to conceal it.
Riddle has good grades in school only when she wants too. Only during her national exams does she get straight A’s. This often puts her teachers in a fix especially Mr Carl. She finds studying a chore. She is naturally smart and does not need to study to do well in her exams. Because of this ability, Alex often is jealous of her.
Riddle comes from a scholarship programmed. Her uncle had paid the scholarship for her. He is her guardian. Riddle dislikes him just as much as he dislikes her. Both uncle and niece never got along well.
Riddle rarely opens up to people and when she does it was only to people she trust. Like her neighbors and Esme, Alex and later Ben and San Geong.
Riddle is well versed in many languages and the supernatural and also kendo. She fights well with a wooden sword and is known for her sword skills.

Name: Esme Conner
Age: Whatever age we decide on...
Hair: Dark blonde, straight, chin-length bob
Eyes: Gold-bronze
Skin: Tanned
Personality: Esme is a rich, high society girl, being the sister of the multi-billionaire Christopher Conner. She is a prominent figure of the city’s elite society, a popular trouble-making socialite in the tabloids. Many of her peers see her as very worthy connection; she is, after all, the heir to one of the richest companies in the world and over billions and billions of dollars. Any connection with her would surely be fruitful to their individual companies. To the rich adults of the elite society of the city, Esme is a worthy bride to their sons- just imagine Esme as a medieval King’s daughter, the crown princess of the land. Despite her supposed status in life, Esme is the complete opposite of how she should act. In fact, she does her best to go against every part of her upper class society. Esme is a massive trouble-maker. Often enough, she has gotten in trouble with the law due to her reckless behaviour on the streets or illegal plans. She gets into fights with the city’s many mini-gangs just for the thrills; she has spent nights in prison due to this action. Besides that, Esme is also a prominent street racer. She spends many nights racing through the streets of the city on her motorbike, challenging gang leaders and their minions for fun. She sometimes races on other gangs behalf, gaining their loyalty and favour in return. Due to all of these illegal happenings, Esme has made many connections with the city’s criminal underworld. Instead of making connections and forging relationships with the pristine and elite like she should be, the girl spends her time getting knowledge and loyalty from the underworld. Her connections with criminals have put her on the police’s radar for years now, earning her many nights behind iron bars. Despite her nasty reputation with the mafia, Esme is still a wanted connection by the elite; her brother and her inheritance is too much a treasure to be turned away from. Thus, the girl is still an intricate part of the elite society, though her behaviour and connections are often frowned upon.

Esme is terribly sarcastic, often known among her peers for having a very sleek silver tongue; she can talk her way out of anything. In fact, this is an already well-known fact with the police o her teachers, she is often seen as the smart-aleck in class, as a bad influence to the other students. However, this aspect of her is often ignored due to her position in society. Esme is also hot-tempered; she is known among her peers for having a violent reaction to whoever treats her or her friends without respect. Her hot-headedness is pretty much the reason why the girl gets into so many fights. Esme is also passionate about many things, though these things are known by few. She has many ideals and beliefs and though she has a hand in the criminal world, Esme is always standing up for the down-trodden. She fights for her ideals passionately, refusing to ever give up; refusal to back down is one of her principals. It is this passion and feisty nature that she shares with Morgan, thus appealing to the latter too.

Esme is also incredibly independent, wanting to do everything by herself. Much like Morgan, she does not like to be told what to do and often does everything in her power to go against society and its rules. She does not like to be held down or restricted. It is this very nature of hers that gets her into constant logger-heads with Chris. Esme is a risk-taker, often seeming uncaring and unbothered with life. She does reckless, dangerous things without even thinking about herself, such as racing at dangerous speeds on her bike. She has no care for her life, often seeing herself as a simply pawn in matters. Despite all dangers, Esme jumps head-first into situations, enjoying the thrill that it brings to the fullest degree. She is a daredevil.

Esme is an adventurer. She likes to do crazy things, exploring new places and trying out new things. Despite her inquisitive and adventurous nature, Esme is often unsociable- she feels that the unmarked territories of society are far more dangerous then sky-diving. Thus, she often keeps to herself, earning her a wary loner nature. Truth be told, she does not know how to interact properly and politely with others. She doesn’t even care to know. The girl is often contented to be by herself, being uncaring and unconcerned about all that happens around her. She has a don’t-know-don’t-care attitude. Often unpredictable and extremely free-spirited, she prefers her own company though she would hang out with her few friends if she is especially bored. She likes to read books in her spare time though a generous amount of her hours are spent just wandering around aimlessly, exploring the lands on her bike. She is often seen as unapproachable and emotionless, earning her a nasty bad-girl reputation. The leather jackets, metal boots and thick, black makeup doesn’t help either. However, among her friends, she is known for being incredibly sassy and full of maniac ideas-she often likes to solve other people’s problems with crazy, life-threatening schemes. She is good with a sword though her expertise lies in dual-sword combat and guns. Has a thing for cars and bikes.
